1. Acceptance of Agreement

By accessing and utilising the IAIM Singapore website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our digital services. These terms apply to all visitors, parents, and professional members who engage with our platform.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

The “Language of Touch” curriculum, the IAIM logo, and all instructional materials, including text, graphics, and videos, are the exclusive property of IAIM and IAIM Singapore.

  • Users are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or modifying any content without express written consent.

  • The title “Certified Infant Massage Instructor” (CIMI) is a protected designation reserved only for those who have successfully completed the official certification process.

3. Professional Conduct and Membership

All members of the IAIM Singapore Executive Committee and certified instructors must adhere to the international statutes and the IAIM Code of Ethics.

  • Instructors must maintain valid certification and professional insurance to be listed in the National Directory.

  • We reserve the right to remove any member from our directory who fails to uphold the values of respect, love, and infant-led communication.

4. Booking, Fees, and Cancellations

Engagement in our Parent-Baby Massage Classes or Instructor Training is subject to the following financial terms:

  • Payment: Full payment is required to secure your placement in group or private sessions.

  • Cancellations: For group classes, notice must be provided at least 48 hours in advance for any rescheduling.

  • Refunds: Trial sessions and deposits are generally non-refundable, reflecting the costs of materials and venue preparation.

5. Health and Safety Disclaimer

While infant massage offers profound benefits, including relief from wind and improved sleep, it is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

  • Parents are responsible for consulting with a paediatrician if their baby has a pre-existing medical condition.

  • IAIM Singapore and its instructors facilitate the connection but do not provide clinical diagnosis or therapeutic medical services.

6. Limitation of Liability

IAIM Singapore shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or the practice of techniques learned in class. The parent or legal guardian remains the primary facilitator of the massage and assumes full responsibility for their infant’s comfort and safety.

7. User-Generated Content

If you share testimonials, photos, or comments on our community pages, you grant IAIM Singapore a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use this content for promotional and educational purposes. We reserve the right to moderate or remove content that does not align with our compassionate community standards.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singaporean courts.

The purpose of the International Association of Infant Massage is to promote nurturing touch and communication, through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
